Basing myself in both Cheshire and the Isle of Man, I’m Louisa, a digital marketer with a passion for writing.

Having worked in the marketing industry for over a decade, I’ve been fortunate enough to work in the private, public and third sectors across a cross section of industries; including finance, tourism, retail, charity – and medicinal cannabis, to name but a few…

My passion for writing stemmed from an early age, and naturally this worked its way into my day job. To write for a living has been a real joy – but as a marketing generalist, you have to wear many creative ‘hats’. Whether that be organising an event, designing artwork for an exhibition stand or for a printed advert, developing a website, writing a marketing strategy, managing social media channels, editing a video or managing a digital agency. As the years went by, the roles, people, and places changed – but one thing remained constant and still, my love for writing.

I took the bull by the horns following the outbreak of the pandemic and a loss of a parent, realised that life was short, and precious, and that you are only moving forwards – you can’t go backwards. You can reminisce and look back – maybe regret, and wish you had done things differently, but something you can influence and make your own is your future. So I decided to take this passion and make it a full-time career.

You may ask, what makes me different from the rest of the copywriting pack? Maybe not an awful lot, but what I can promise you is absolute determination, the ability to pick up a concept quickly, understand it, and be able to run with it. I am a perfectionist (ask my partner) and will go above and beyond to make your copy gold. I relish the challenge of being given a few bullet points and asked to craft something compelling, understandable, and engaging for an audience or a particular communication channel.
